Since
our beginning, we have brought our approach
to the development and presentation of numerous
original full-length works, vignettes
and short films, to ongoing
artist training and classes and
to artistic collaborations with
communities and theater companies
locally and abroad. The company has developed/presented
original works at The Public Theater, Ars
Nova, the NY Clown Theater Festival, Gowanus
Arts in Brooklyn, Media Artes in Macedonia
and the National Arts Festival in South
Africa (2007 winner/"One of the Best
of the Festival"). In 2007, the company
entered the world of celluloid, creating
a series of short documentary and fiction
films that have been presented at screenings
and festivals. We have led professional
workshops and community-based collaborations
in each of the five boroughs and in communities
as far as South Africa, Macedonia and Brazil.
The company has been granted development
residencies from Gowanus Arts, The Public
Theater and Ars Nova and has received grants
from the Brooklyn Arts Council, New York
City’s Department of Cultural Affairs
and ART/NY’s Nancy Quinn Fund.
